Very interesting warranty question
 

On 08/14/03 I had an indie shop install a new/rebuilt alternator on my 420 SEL. Last Saturday the alternator failed. I called the shop today and was told "well it's been exactly a year, I'll try to talk to the parts shop and see what I can do". According to my calander, I still have until Friday to get this repaired under warranty. A 1 year warranty is for 365 days. right?

Am I missing something or is my shop trying to cheat me?

Maybe they have the date wrong in their heads or something. Just tell them it'll be a year on Saturday, you've got warranty left.
