climate control problem
 

Hi all,

1994 w124 E220.
I have automatic climate control. whenever i switch to window demister, air blows everywhere except to the front windscreen.
Does the mercedes CD give comprensive instructions on how to dismantle the dashboard? If so where can I download/purchase it.

One other problem, when warming the interior, does hot air only come out the side vents and cold air the centre ones?

Heat isn't designed to come from the center vent except on S-class(incl SL's) cars with a "red" button on the center vent.

Thanks for the hot air problem.

I was told that the demister vacuum vpump has been damaged. That is why air blows everywhere except the front windscreen. THe question is how to go about changing it.
