I have been having this consistent problem on my 86 300E. About 2 weeks ago my fuel distributor, fuel pump and fuel filter were replaced by a local mechanic who wasnt too good with Mercedes. Well now my car has absolutely no power, I am lucky if I can get the car to do 70mph and it takes a couple of minutes to get going that fast. Anyhow, I was wondering if there are any adjustments on the fuel distributor? I was wondering because I dont think the engine is getting enough fuel. I tried some fuel injector cleaner with no results. Also there is another part the mechanic said needed replacing its a relay type thing that plugs in right next to the fuel relay, it is red on top and it takes a standard 10amp fuse (not the regular mercedes fuses). What is this thing and what is its purpose. Thanks
