The only euro 16V engines that had 10.5/1 compression have 24MM wrist pins!
If your engine has 22MM wrist pins then the engine was 9.7/1 ratio!
To make a 22MM wrist pin engine have 10.5/1 you need to make the piston protrusion 0.8-1.0 MM. In other words deck the block, make sure to have the front cover installed if the block needs 0.5MM or more removed
