I Nearly Nailed Some Dumb SOB Yesterday
 

On my way home from work, 3rd shift, and I was driving the 300SE down the main 2 lane road and some idiot pulled out in front of me to go in the opposite direction. I hit the brakes, the horn and the high beams all at the same time. He was driving a Neon so he would have lost. I like my car way too much. The driver following me had a ride awakening though. He nearly hit me from behind. That was his wake up call. He drove slowly after that.

Sheeze.

I know what you mean. I've had people tailing my azz or racing me to stoplights because of my SL. It is even worse in the morning because I will try to set cruise control at 65 to help save gas (HA), stay in the middle lane and have a happy day. No such luck. People are buzzing past me at 80 MPH or want me to move from the middle lane!! Usually the ones driving like hell are POS's, monster trucks or other imports.

Yacking about people pulling out in front of you doesn't belong in a TECH forum.

You need to contact the moderator (of THIS forum) to request changes like this. That's what the moderator is supposed to do, not the webmaster. It's sorta like asking the mayor to pick up your trash.

As long as I'm here, I hear alot of people with attitudes like this. The ones participating in the sort of activities being discussed are as bad as the ones being complained about, IMHO. Driving is a serious business, it should be treated as such.

Thats how my Camry got hit, a Saturn thought that a stop sign didn't apply to it. But if do you hit a car, you want to hit a Saturn theirs nothing their they sort of break apart. :eek: Now with the MB I lay on the horn anytime anyone looks like they are not going to stop. I don't care if I anger them I don't want them to hit me.
