another head related Q- I followed the torque specs on the CD but found they were..

different for the head gasket kit. I of course didnt see this until after I ran the car. The CDs say 55NM then 90 degrees x2. The head gasket kit says 70Nm then 90 x2. Should I be concerned over 15 Nm? I dont want to tighten them more since I already ran the engine.

this is a 103 engine, 1992 300TE

Assuming you're talking about an M103, there's some debate on that. The MB manual for the 126 series says 70 Nm plus 90* twice. The MB manual for the 201 and 124 series says 55 Nm plus 90* twice. AFAIK, it's the same engine.

Wink

I wouldn't worry at all!
MY MB literature shows 70nm for the M103 engine, & 55nm for 102/104 engines as the STARTING torque.
