abs lights on

What would cause my ABS light to stay on, only when parking lights or headlights are turned on. 1989 300e

Check your battery and your alternator/voltage regulator!

They are going south.

Good luck!

Sounds like your exterior bulb failure monitor light wire is plugged into your ABS light on the cluster!

Had any work done behind the instrument cluster lately?

Probably worth addressing so you'll know weather your “braking when slippery” is on or off.

Thanks for the info, you are correct, the bulb failure light was plug into the abs light and the abs light plug into the bulb failure light.
