Turn Signals when - Out
 

First the passenger side blinked too fast.

Now neither turn signal works, neither does the 4 way flash.

I'm thinking bulb and relay. But when the bulbs were flashing - I didn't see any out, I'm thinking it's a loose connection. Yes the dash idiot light for light out has been light.

Where is the relay on a 560SL (1986) -

never replaced before.

Will check fuse also, as the fog lights are out also, but I'm thinking they are not related.

Have you checked the emergency flasher switch? Not sure about your model but on my 1977 240d and my 87 190e, the turn signal is routed through the flasher. Mine just went out the other day in fact. I just put in a new flasher switch in the center console and all is well in 190 land.
