Could someone help with some definitions please? What are:

ETA
EHA

ASR is traction control, I forgot the words they used to come up with ASR.
ETA = estimated time of arrival. Others?
EHA = electro-hydraulic actuator. The little black lump on the side of the fuel distributor that converts the electronic information into a fuel pressure change to regulate the air/fuel mixture.

I think ETA = Electronic Throttle Actuator

I always thought ASR (which yes is traction control) stands for anti-slip regulation. HEY I have a book which should say for sure!

That's it , Gil..

I see everything from Anti-skid, anti-slip, auto-slip, etc..
but you got it...
They all translate to the same thing.

So why is the voltage regulator called the OVP?

Mike

Arthur Dalton 09-27-2004 09:14 PM

OVP is "Over-Voltage-Protection" relay..
It is not the voltage regulator. It is a voltage spike protection device..
