I removed the whole air flow meter to do mine. Yes, it's a total pain! There was someone who claimed to have done it by just removing a few fuel lines and pieces, but I could see how. Come to think of it, I think his was phillips screws which would be a whole lot easier and doable with the above mentioned pieces removed.

I would tighten the rear torx screw tight and leave the front ones, or the ones you can reach with it installed snug. Then when you get the car running adjust the pot slightly by prying gently on one end to get it to the specified. 0.70 volt.

OR.......go to a hardware store and swap the torx screws for phillips heads and then you can adjust it easier.

I wish I would have though of this while i was replacing mine.
