w124 seat springs- where to buy?
I have searched around the threads to find the answer but nothing is available.
I need new front seat springs and cushions for my 87 300D 124. I tried performance parts, but they don't have them for that model. Any suggestions? DS 87 300D |

Call Potomac at 800-831-7686 and see what they have. You can probably find a passenger side spring and cushion for under $100.

seat cushion spriings & repair
Sometimes its possible to repair (S type springs) with C clips These will tie S type springs together and stiffen cushion support. ?Even though you have some broken, these repairs (hog rings) really hold. good luck, Abe G

I thought of the repair option, and I can do that, but my comfort is worth some dollars, especially for the amount of time I'm on the road. I figured new would be better.
Do the dealers sell them? DS 87 300D |

If you want a new one call Tom Hanson at Caliber Motors in Anaheim CA
800-252-6877 x306. If you want a used one call Potomac and specify a late model passenger side. You will also need a pad. Potomac sent me an entire seat bottom including cover and the motors and tracks for $75. It appears to have very little wear. The $350 savings is almost enough to pay for the new seat cover for my 126
