"VERY" inst. artical in STAR
 

There is an interesting artical in this month's STAR regarding manuals, etc. There is a DVD available which covers everything servicewise on 92-99 S-class, and 90-2002 SL's. Headings are: Long awaited service info. arrives.contents are: Intro to service, owners manuals, maintenance manual, diagnostic manual, repair documentation, electrical troubleshooting. This sounds like what most of us have been waiting for. The cost is $175 from MBUSA at 800/for-merc May sound a little pricey, but consider the alternative and buying all those un-needed parts...

Im not going to hold my breath. So far everything I have from Mercedes is less than 1/2 of a manual. They are OK if you only need to change shocks and brakes but if you need to overhaul a transmission (when you really need a manual) your screwed. Hopefully this one will be different.
