Wink 76 450SEL Heater control problem

The climate control system is working well, but I am getting cold air instead of warm air -- with the heat dial turned all the way to the red zone. What would be the correction for this situation? Must be something in the controls area that is not registering the heater setting ?? What do you suggest

Wink 76 450SEL heater

I sent Col. Klink a private message re that and I really don't think it is the control unit itself, but rather a vac connection or electrical connection that can affect what the servo does .... I have to check all those and think the answer may lie there .... Ben Carter

Does the center air vent drop out when you change from cool to hot setting? One needs to evaluate if the system is moving and that is one good way. If the air is there in the low temp position and goes away in the high temp position, be sure you have the comp switch off. If you still have no heat then there is an adjustment on the temp wheel to get more movement out of the servo but if its gone as far as its going the servo is a common prob.

Red face 450 Sel

Thanks for the tips; will be checking the whole system out this week and hopefully will find the control problem, either in the dash buttons or wheel or in another area of the elec/vac systems. Ben Carter
