I have a 2000 C-230 Sport, recently my sunroof stopped working. The sunroof will open to the vent position, but when I try to open it completely, it will travel about 1/8 of an inch and then stop. Any ideas on what the problem is?

Could be ywt another synchronization problem. Try this: Hold the sunroof switch to the tilted up position, and continue holding the switch "up" for about another 5 to 10 seconds, then see if it'll slide back like you want it to.

that happened to my 2001 C320, I had to pull down the switch, disconnect the switch from power and the sunroof motor from power. then reconnect them, and hold the button closed for five seconds, then open the sunroof all the way and hold thee button open for a few seconds, and the same goes for the tilt option, that should synch the sunroof..

I think after you disconnect the switch, you're supposed to close your eyes , turn around 3 times and throw 2 $100 bills at the car...that should fix it.
