"4 Wheel Steering" on my 300E (pics)

My rear links that control toe were so worn that I had 4 wheel steering.
Deceleration in a curve made for serious oversteer.
Give it a bit of throttle, and it would switch to understeer.

Exactly the opposite of what one would really want!

For the record, the 2 pairs of links (3 shown- the other one was cut into bits) are called "Thrust Arm" and "Control Arm Stay"
