my car is driving like a dream and for the work I had done - I think it is a fair price. I had a head gasket leak (M104, duh) at 234,000 miles (the second one, the first done when I bought the car at 60,000 miles), timing chain, flex disc, new radiator and finally having to drill out the center pin the goes to the head (?), oil change for $2,600 :eek: . These are the cumulation of things that I had put off but when I saw little sparrows taking a bath in my coolant leak on the ground I knew it was time to bring in my baby for some work! :)

Welcome to the club, no repair bill for a MB an surprise me anymore! :D

btw their is going to be a gtg at Hamminasit(sp?) park tomarrow around 11 or 12.

You wanna see shocking..........look at my wifes Visa bill. :D

Well look at it this way, if she spends $1k on her hair then you can go get another MB and say you were thinking of how nice she would look in it with her awsome hair.

That way no matter what you buy your covered. :D

Funny you should say that! A friend at work is selling her '97 E420 with ~55,000 miles and I wouldn't mind adding that one to my current vehicle inventory. I think she wants about $17,500 for it. Maybe I should talk to the wife into selling the E300 and taking in the E420? Nah.....................but with the price of diesel lately, who knows.
