Transmission Slipping out of Gear while Driving

Car is a 88 300E with about 160K miles on it. Had the front seal replaced last month due to bad leak. Shortly thereafter the car would pop out of drive as I would be driving down streeet 40-50 MPH. Would pull over, turn off car, turn back on then fine. Inde ship said to change fluid & filter as then did not when replaced front seal. Did fluid and filter change and car ran fine for about two weeks. Today it started poping out of gear again. Same thing pull over and then fine. Checked fluid level and it may be a little high. Hard to check. I have read threads about fluid foaming if level to high and sucking air.

Looking for some help.

Thanks in advance.
