Cam question

Should all lobes on my drivers side cam be the same spec? How worn can the cam get before it is no longer useable? Any ideas what the wear limits are? I have an 83 380SL. Thanks!

Not speaking of roller cams which are a different animal, once a cam is worn past about .010 or so it is passed the hardened material and will wear VERY fast. Worn cams should be replaced. Luckily they are on top of the engine on these cars, not buried below as in an OHV engine.
