Exclamation C230 Coolant replacement question.

I drained the old fluid from my radiator and replaced it. I did open the heater core before draining. When I refilled, it seemed that the entire 10 liters did not go in although the radiator seems full. Is there a bleeder valve to let the air out or is just filling through the reservoir good enough??

Thanks for any help.

You forgot to drain the block. The drain nipple is on the right side of the block; use a 19mm socket to loosen it. It looks like a large brake caliper bleed nipple. If you connect a hose (about 13mm inside diameter) you can do the job without spilling a drop on the chassis or mechanical parts.
