1999 e 300 td srs light on . anything I can check

I have a 1999 meercedes e 300 turbo diesel and the srs light just came on and wont go off. Car has 117 k miles . Any ideas?

This is a long shot.
Try cleaning the seatbelt buckles ( compressed air ) & see what happens. ;)
