124 Fuel Injection questions
Hi All
I was trying to identify my FI system. Car is 1992 124 with 2 litre 102 engine (Euro). It has a pressure actuator on the distributor (EHA) but no O2 sensor. Also it has no pin 3 on X11 connector. I just adjusted the EHA with the recommended 1/4 CW turn and it felt better. I've been having starting problems when the car is warm (not hot) - fires and dies immediately on the first try. Subsequently starts fine. I am hoping the EHA adjust above with cure this. What other functions does the EHA do if there is no O2 input? I cannot get a reading from the EHA with KonEoff. But car won't start with EHA disconnected. Thanks your input in helping me understand my system. Oreo |

It's usually best to adjust to a car's idiosycracies rather than trying to adjust it to how you think it should work, especially if it's a minor issue and there is an easy alternative. Duke |
Hi Duke
The EHA adjustment did not work on the warm start problem. Will heed your advice on the pedal unless someone else has something up their sleeve. Is there a coolant temp sensor linked to a hot start relay? Oreo |
