w210 mirror replacement
 

Hi,

Some hoodlum kids threw a brick and ruined the drivers side mirror on my father's 96 e300D. Its not just the glass, its the whole assembly. The cover came off and seems to be OK.

What I'd like to know is what is involved with replacing the whole mirror assembly? If I recall correctly, there are just three screws that hold the mirror assembly to thew car body. Is this right? Are there any gaskets that would need to be replaced underneath?
