WOT problem
My 230E 89, when gas pedal is floored doesn't get much power and RPM increase slowly even in lower gears. One more thing that when pedal is fully floored the car doesn't accelarate fast and but when i release the gas pedal a little (90% of full throttle) it gains power but still not much. I doubt the WOT is not getting activated. how to check please help. My 0-100Km is most likely in 13sec.

My 190E had that same problem. Replaced fuel injectors and fuel filter and still nothing. Happened when I first noticed my head gasket failing. Replaced it a day after I noticed but when I tool the exhaust header off I noticed the Pre-Cats had a white soot like substance on them. So I gutted them. Well car still did it, cut the cat off and looked up the downpipe to find all kinds of crap that I thought I got out still in there. Cleaned and re-installed the cat and downpipes and the car runs better than it ever has since I got it. Easy but loud way to check if it is something in the exhaust is to loosen the down pipes at the header so they leak freely and then run it and see if that solves your problem. Once you figure out if that is it or not then we can move on to how to fix it. Good Luck.
