acceleration problems
 

My 87 560s benz will not accelerate as it is suppose to.
Installed new plugs ,wires, distributor cap,rotor, fuel filter and fuel acumulator. did not help.
Any help would be appreciated.

Provide more description of the problem.

From a standing start?
All the time? When warmed up? When Cold? When raining etc

How did the problem develop?

Does it stutter?

Have you checked fuel pressure? Mixture?

Does it idle properly?

And so on.

When leaving a stoplight, with very little pressure on accelerator it runs fine.
however if you apply pressure as in a normal takeoff engine stutters and seems to be flooding out{black smoke from exaust} weather conditions does
not matter. problem is all the time.
