W210 Foglight Bulb Replacement
 

I popped a foglight bulb in my 1997 W210 E300D. Does anyone have a trick way of replacing the H1 bulb that doesn't involve a car lift or ramps?

I can't figure out a way to do it when the car is on the ground. This is complicated by having just gotten my left arm out of a cast.

I was able to squeeze under it and replace it with the car on the ground. If you are having problems with your arm just getting out of a cast, you may need ramps to give you more room, but for me there was enough room.

There is a plastic cover under the bumper just behind the fog light. Open this cover and you should be able to get to the fog light assmbly without much problem. I replaced mine with the car on the ground without the need of a ramp.
