Hesitant door handle
 

My 95 W202 (C280) passenger door handle (outside) hesitates the first time the handle is pulled out. If you let it go back to rest position and pull it again or just keep pulling, it will finally open. This is irritating and I am afraid it will get damaged by people pulling it really hard to open it. Anyone know what could cause this hesitation?
