Hello I am looking at a 83 500SL for purchase I believe this is the European version of the 380SL but I am not sure, any information on this model would be greatly appreciated, there are approx 117k miles on this vehicle and appears to be in above average condition. Thanks for the help HB

I have seen a few 500SL's that were US models. You would have to get it looked at by a good tech to see what you are looking at. Some of these can be real money traps.
