antilock light on, and no tachometer

On my '86 300 SDL, suddenly lost tachometer, and antilock light on simultaneously. related? coincidence? Any ideas?

Could be the OVP relay, just a guess....

I would check your alt, it might be on the way out.

I'll o with OVP. The engine speed signal is made by the EGR transducer which is powered by the OVP as is the ABS.

I experienced the same problem one time if i'm not mistaken it was a fuse that had blown.
