M104 Engine - Timing Chain Replacement?

Does anyone know how long the timing chain in the M104 engine will last? I have heard 100K miles is the recommended replacement maintenance.

Will I expect a huge repair bill?
Should anything else be replaced or checked while doing the timing chain?

Any Opinions or experiences?
