'93 190e mil clearing
Hallo people....
Just completed head gasket job on customers 2.6ltr. Ran engine with Air Temp' sensor disconnected. ( Checking stuff, you know ? ) MIL on ...My Snap-On scanner will not communicate through #3 pin. What to do ? Any ideas .. Thank you Don DKV Euro |
Try it without the Snap-on scanner, sometimes it gives you hassles. Just push the button down on X11/4 for three seconds and release. Count blinks and repeat three second hold, until same code comes up again, that is if there's more than one. Then push and hold button for eight seconds and release to clear code. Repeat if more than one code stored. If there is no red light when you push the button you'll need to trace voltage. Good luck.

Did something like that before it went back in service. Had a code 13 only. Did not know how to clear it with the button then. I'll call her and get them to drop by to reset code(s).. Thank you for the insight.... |
