cooling system refill
 

I want to replace the coolant in my 1995 E320 (W124) Last time I did this job only about 7 litres drained out when there's supposed to be 9. I had the block drain open and the radiator drained out. Any ideas, maybe there is some coolant left in the heater matrix? If so, how to drain it? :confused:
Another little problem is that the parking light feature does not work, either left or right. I tried another light switch without success. Someone suggested a faulty lighting control module/relay but as these are v. expensive I hesitate to replace merely on spec. Any further ideas please?

You will not be able to drain all the coolant out. Some coolant will be left in the heater circuit. I don't think its that big of a deal.
