A little more help needed please
Thanks for all your replies yesterday regarding my '88 260E that is causing me such grief..
MORE Help needed PLEASE . Today my brother used a volt meter to try to run this apparent short down that is draining my battery. With a volt meter set on 20 volts when he checked the fuse for the diagnostic terminal, hazard warning system, clock, front roof light, vanity mirror light, relay comfort circuitry this registered at 13.2 volts Next, the heatable rear window measured 13.5 volts Last was the fuse for rear roof light, trunk light, rear door locking system, central locking system, door lights, antenna, control unit set. 13.5 volts All of these readings were with the car off, doors closed, and battery connected. Are any of these readings close to what they should be? For anyone that may have a fuse box lid handy for this make car, the fuse numbers are #9, #10, and "C". |
