"AnTiLoCk" WaRNiNg LiGhT??
 

After finally finding and solve my rough start/no start problems (caused by 2 faulty glow-plugs and an old batter) it seems I am having "antilock" problems. The strange thing is that the light only comes on about every 4th start. Sometimes I will drive and drive without the light, and the next time I start the car, the light is only until I turn it off. What problems with the braking system would cause this light to come on, because this is the first time I have seen anything like this. :confused:

Depending on your model, I know on my 420 SEL its due to bad sensors. Brakes will work fine from what I understand just normal braking not ABS.

I'm going to guess that you have a 126 Diesel. (Might want to put your year and model in your signature)
Clean the ABS sensors by the wheels. For more details, do a search.

w126 diesel is exactly correct, I have a 1985 300sd and a 1986 300sdl
