Looking for Honest/Reliable Mercedes Mechanic
Can anyone recommend a good mechanic for my '83 380 SEC in Houston?
Having problem figuring out why I'm not getting any spark to distributor. I'm getting voltage to ignition coil. Does anyone know how to test ignition module? Thanks. |

I don't know the answer to either question, but would recommend you re-post each one separately with a more specific title ...

If your coil has 12v on the positive terminal you now need to check if you have a pulse on the negative terminal, you can easily check this by using a 12v L.E.D or a noid light, simply remove the negitve wire, connect 12v to one side of the light and the neg wire to the other, whilst cranking the light will pulse if the ignition system is working.
