Did you ever get your car back and find the problem?

My 1990 300E with 260,000 miles starts fine when cold and runs for roughly 10 minutes (until it heats up) then sputters and dies. It seems the fuel is cut off and it won't restart but instead cranks rough and sputters. Next day, it starts up just fine but repeats the cycle when warm. Just replaced fuel filter with no results. Any ideas?

Incidentally, I recently replaced the cracked vacuum hoses at the ICV. So far, no stalling.

Psfred suggested that I check the ICV vacuum hoses. As he predicted, they were dried and cracked.
