door vacuum actuator question
 

could some one describe how to properly remove the rear passenger door vac acutator on a 1984 300td wagon? what has me stumped is how to remove the black plactic piece that attaches the vac valve to the vertical threaded push pull metal rod.

If the black plastic is a CAP shape then you just pull it upward and then the treaded rod is removed horitontally out of the 2 sides.
