Cruising RPM 300TE

Can anyone tell me what the cruising rpm (65-70mph) should be for my 1989 300 TE? It feels like it might be running at too high an rpm (3300-3400) at 68 or 70 mph. Transmission is good. Vaccum modulator is correctly adjusted. Shifts fine. Thanks

Both my 300 E's with M103 engine were 3,000 rpm at 70 mph. Your wagon is
heavier than the sedan, so is no doubt geared lower.

I wouldn't worry a minute about it.

Steve
