acceleration

Hello
Much needed advise on my 87 560sl, I think this is a transmission problem, but not sure. Happens on and off. Driving 60mph,want to pass someone in front, sudden acceleration, the rpm move up, but the car is barely increasing speed, after that I get a rough shift and move forward. Please advise.
Regards

Zbys560sl,
Had a similar problem with my 300E. Try pulling your fuel relay, and OVP. Use dielectric grease in the relay socket. Also make sure OVP is not bad. I also made my fuel mixture more rich, and turned my EHA 1/4 turn clockwise. Hope this helps,

Mike
