My newly purchased '87 300D Turbo has a bad side to side wobble at just about any speed. Kind of feels like the rear end is moving around while driving straight. I had hoped it was just a blown shock on one side or a spring, but my local private M-B repair shop says I need the whole rear assembly. He says all the bushings are dry rotted and the linkage is rusted to the point where they can only be removed with a torch.

Is this my best option?...or is this my only option? Anyone know how much this is going to run me?

Thanks
Jason
