Central door locking system
 

Hellllllo,

About 2 months ago, I noticed that my door locking system is misbehaving.... did not want to do anything about it until now...

Sometimes, like when I stop the car's engine after a drive, immediately a humming sound will come from the rear right of the car... and if I try to lift my driver's door lock during that time, it just lifts up, but the other door lock knobs do not lift up... (they remain locked)

I can just wait it out and eventually the humming will abruptly slow down and stop, then I can unlock my doors normally...

Do I have a vacuum leak or what?

My transmission also flares a bit in certain gears.. .could the problem be related?

Two (2) separate systems?
 

Vacuum pump under rear seat powering locking system?

yikes....

there are 2 pumps?
