1983 300CD Door Strikers...where are they?
 

Whenever I go to the big distributors' web pages I get a "part not found" message when I look for door strikers. My doors have trouble closing (you have to slam them) and I'm sick of it. I see them pop up on ebay every now and then, and I know you can get at least the driver's side striker from **************.com, but does anybody know what happened to this part?

Left side: 123-720-01-04
Right side: 123-720-02-04

Retail at your local dealership should be about $25 per side.

will changing the door strikers help the door close? My passenger door needs a firm hand to get it to close properly so if that's likely to help, I'll be buying one

If the above doesn't work, you can always try the tried and true method of salvage yards.
