560sl intake manifold bolt torque?

Does anyone have any information on the bolt torque for a 1988 560sl intake manifold. I appeares Mercedes left that small detail out of the CD. Please provide source of information.

Thank You

My MB indy shop said 18-22 ft-lb for my 91 420sel and I don't think there is a difference between the 560 or 420. I used 22 ft-lb on my 420 to make sure that they are all tight.

Make sure that you alternate the bolt pattern when you torque. Everytime i went back to the first bolt, i found that it was loose a little. I finally went around 6 times before they were all torqued down to spec. Make sure to check that every single bolt is torqued to spec before you put everything back together. Another tip is to apply a little hi-temp silicone gasket on the intake gasket.

Sounds Good

So far I have brought it to 175 in-lb. Yes it does take a few go arounds to get it to settle. I will bring it up to 220 before I put the injector lines on. I sure you have the same 8mm bolts as the 560.

Thank You
