Code P0460 set--Fuel level sensor A Circuit Malfunction--can someone tell me what component and its location this is refering to?
Also Code P0161 02 heater circuit Sensor 2 Bank 2--can you tell me which is side of the motor is bank 2 and is sensor 2 the one before or after the cat? Many thanks. |
P0 460 is a reference to a defective fuel tank sending unit! VERY common problem on later cars.
Replacement is done thru the trunk, takes about 1/2 hour IF the tank is less than 3/4 full. By the way P0 161 is for the LEFT rear O2 sensor as MB uses cylinder 1 as the basis for where BANK number 1 is located! ON all MB V-engines cylinder 1 is the right front! That makes bank 2 sensor 2 the left rear. |

Thank you so much for your replies. Would you be saying MBDoc that the 02 sensor is on the driver's side AFTER cat??
