wiring trouble

I have a 1977 280e. when i turn the key to start thecar it turns over,but when I let off the key it keeps cranking even when I take the key totally out of the switch. starter good,switch good,relay good,wiring seems to be ok.I'm puzzled could some one help.

The problem is most likely the starter solenoid.
