Seeking great Mercedes'
We are looking for several great articles on classic, unique, stock, or modified Mercedes-Benz automobiles for publication in Prestige.
Send us a photo and 50 words about your car to be considered for publication. Cars that are chosen will be featured in full color in up coming issues. Email those to: editor@benzmag.com Sincerely, Brian Minson Co-Publisher http://www.benzmag.com |
This thing still exists? Lets see Barns and Noble never has it. I can't get a sample issue to see if it is any good. Members here have said they never got their subscriptions. I think I'll stick to Car and Driver thanks.

Is there a rule against FALSE advertisement, Mr. webmaster
I think this mag and its website is a joke. I will not be surprised if the website is a spyware haven. Correct me if am wrong!!!
|
Yeah, you know what I have thought about this for a day. I am reporting this thread as spam.
When Prestige first came out I was very happy we finally had a mag but this thing is just becoming a joke. Their is a pretty good British MB mag I used to get but I can't find it in stores anymore. |
Ya,.... didn't get their subscriptions! Someone should try to find him and get the money back. How hard could it be to find a ranch somewhere in New Mexico?
|
Has ANYONE seen an edition of the Mag??
I tried to find it and has been a fruitless search |
Nope!
Well not to my knowledge, but they did take my $16, and I tried contacting them but never got so much as a whisper! I would say that this is an internet scam and should be reported. Oh yes, I have tried that too, but even our own gov. ignores doing anything about it! Prestige.......were on to you..... |
It would seem they collected money from people here and never delivered.
Now they want photos of nice MBs. If they're not really selling magazines and they want photos of cars, then one could wonder if the "ranch in New Mexico" is nothing more than a rural chop shop? One more reason not to provide your real name and location at ANY car site. |

Cleaned my computer with Ad-aware and then went to the web site. Clicked on all the tabs in the index. This is what AD-Aware found after I cleaned my computer again.

Prestige still has banner ads on Mercedesshop, so somebody apparently got something from them. Doubtful the webmaster will boot them under those circumstances.
|
I went to their website a couple of hours ago. Saw Jay Leno on the front cover of their so-called rag.
Maybe I've gone blind, but where are the Prestige ads at this site? Did they just get yanked after all the yack that's been going on in this thread? |

BTW, if cookies bug you a lot (they do me, sort of) set your browser security settings to ping you for permission before a site can set a cookie (works for IE and Netscape, I don't know about Firefox). It's annoying for a while because you'll get little boxes every page you go to, but if you have the box clicked for "Treat all cookies from this site the same way", eventually there'll be fewer trying to get through. It may screw you up on some sites you use regularly that won't give you access (or let you buy stuff or whatever) without setting cookies, but you can go to the list of sites on your browser and change those from "Always Block" to "Always Allow". |
I reported this thread as spam but I have heard nothing. If these guys took my money and never sent me anything I would be pissed. I am glad I didn't cough up the $16 right away.
Mercedes Enthusiast is a nice mag, they had a W126 buyers guide in the last issue I got. It was a nice write up on how to find a nice W126 for $3k pounds. They also had an artical about a cool girl that had a nice W123, 230 or 280E. |
