is there any way possible i could have a 1992 400SEL ?????
this car has bullet proof glass and armour plateing . i'm not
familier with this type of car and have no idea what it's
worth .. (inhierted ) it's a nice clean car with 180000 miles ..
could someone please steer me in the right direction ?

I'm not sure exactly what your question is?

Post the VIN or the 140xxx xx xxxxxx number from the radiator frame.

MB offered a 400SEL in 1992 but not in the US.

If you tell us where you want to go, maybe we can steer you in the right direction.

not sure which direction you want to go, but my guess is either politic or gangsta because only those two would need bullet proof vehicles... :D

Unless he is mistaking the double paned glass for bullet proof, and he is mistaking what we would consider a normal thickness of steel for armored.

glass but it is 3/4 inch thick.. is that spec. size ?? sorry i'm so
dumb about this subject ..i just want to learn .. thanks again for

WIS Info on This Car
 

Wis says car is a Model 140.042 with a M119.971 engine and a 722.366 transmission. 3/4" thick glass has to be something special. Does it run and what country are you in? I can find no card for that VIN in the EPC.

AFAIK a GA42/140.042 is a 400SE, not a 400SEL. A 400SEL is a GA43/140.043.
