I just bought a 95 E420. In the auto position the temperature wheel does not change the temperature quickly like my old M-B and when the wheel says 65 degrees, hot air is still blowing. Cold air will not blow without moving the wheel to the coldest setting. Is it the monovalve or the pushbutton unit?

It might not be either one. You may have a problem with the aspirator or the inside temp sensor.
I would have it checked. |
Or if the mono heater starts to hydro-lock, due to bad diaphram.

Mr. Moderator,
I have the same problem with my 86 560sl. Is this the same as the aformentioned problem with the e420? The guage seems like it is heating only when on max. |
