W210 A/C evaporator?
Does the evaporator is prone to failure like in w124?
If yes how hard is to replace? |
Evaporator in some W210's is a Known Weak Part
You have to pull the dash to get to it but the job is not as difficult as for W124.

Is it a given that a W124's evaporator will fail prematurely, or do the W124s evaporators just have a somewhat higher failure rate than other models.
Is there a way to minimize an evaporator failure risk? Phil |
I had thought that my evaporator had a leak in it, kept loosing charge very slowly. Turned out my condenser had tiny hole on inside between radiator and condenser. It looked like the condenser started corroding from the inside.
