Window regulator removal...bad motor?
I have a stuck rear passenger window on my '88 190E. Both the console switch and the door switch itself will give a gentle "tick" insdie the door when I attempt to lower or raise the window. Is there anyone who has the procedure for removing the window regulator ? (The service CD's pictures are useless, and the instructions almost useless).
Thanks |

Now, to make matters worse, the manual says that the window has to be all the way DOWN to remove the regulator/motor.
How in blazes am I supposed to lower the window to repair it? The window won't move..... Is there a secret hand crank somewhere like there is for the sunroof? lol |

Make sure the rear window switch lock out pressed down. Other than that, you probably need a new window regulator motor.
