neeed help on 1989 560 sel water pump
 

I'm in the process of removing the water pump and I can't
get the bolt out that is behind the harmonic balancer.Is there anyway of removing this bolt without havig to remove the harmonic balancer?

If the harmonic balancer has to be removed,can the flywheel be lock without using the mercedes special tool?

Any help or tips would be great!

You're not required to remove the 27MM bolt just remove the 6MM allen bolts and the pulley and balancer can be removed.
